The back of the A4 envelopes of the HMR&C are perfect to draw. And they can’t stop sending several times the same thing. Great, more spare!
I would be very please to see my children working at the first moon station. But only if we can talk well, they might be lonely out there.

RTM don’t let you modify completed dates. I need to click on “complete” as soon as the task is done. Please display a grateful animation :-)
When Quicktime exports .mov files with H264/AAC codecs that you can’t drag into your iGadget, try to rename them with mp4, m4v or m4a.

Problem with video on the web is you still need to encode about 4 times your file to match the various platforms (desktops, iGadgets, 3G)
Ouf. Finally understood and implemented my best way to display videos using HTML5 video tag and Flash as a fall back.
Can’t see how to setup those “smart” phones to choose *automatically* the best internet connection 3G/Wifi depending on where you are.

I think when you’re giving up at lunch time the sound of your fork against your porcelain plate, you already gave up a lot of (good) things.

Obvious for mippin.com: RSS feed (txt+jpg) on a non e-commerce website is “mobile” compatible enough. But audio & videos are still an issue.
The iTunes chart in America is a major influencer of how kids today discover and talk with their friends what kind of music they like. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/02/business/media/02apple.html?_r=2&fta=y
Todoist, Remember the milk, Gmail tasks, tibowork, todo.txt, pen and paper, etc. Where is the end of it? “Just f*ing do it!” syndrome again!

Fascinated by the evolution of the Boom box replaced by tiny no bass mobile phone speakers. We need to find a way to wear the boom! A bass speaker belt belly?
I knew something was wrong: I was drinking some wine in a “Shrek the third” painted glass from an old Nutella promotional item.

Why designing a website for full capable browsers AND another version for small screens, limited devices is not made at the very beginning?
What I love when surfing the web with any mobile phone is it’s constantly remind you that you’re never holding the right tool for your task.

Friday, 19 June 2009

The initials of Wednesday, Thursday, Friday sounds very familiar to me.
The power of Google docs and spreadsheet and forms is underrated. I like to be able to access the documents through JSON and Javascript.

“In order to be eligible to the 14-Day Money Back Guarantee you must not have used your product.” So I can only look at the box then?

When madness struck the woman, she wants the man to push the library (that weighs a ton) of a few centimeters to let her curtain to slide.
Quand la folie frappe la femme elle veut que l’homme pousse la bibliothèque d’une tonne de quelques cm juste pour laisser passer son rideau.
Learning how to code a Google gadget to talk with a google spreadsheet and managing some adwords accounts. Guess which task is fun for me.

Created few test pages to see how some webfonts Droid Android & Palm Pre Coconut are handled on “modern” browsers. http://thyb.net/assets/
After all those years, even with CSS 3 / Html 5 web fonts goodies, using specific italic/oblique version of a font is still unreliable.
Playing with Palm WebOS restore image and the new Coconut font on a CSS stylesheet. It pays off to have fonts well designed for screens.

Analyse de l’éducation d’une seconde langue étrangère aux lycées de Taiwan avec le Français comme example. http://is.gd/Zahe (PDF)
We believe we think through words. Would we think differently if we master other languages?
Comme nous pensons par l’intermédiaire des mots, nous pensons dans une langue. Pour mieux penser il suffit de maîtriser plusieurs langues.

Finishing updating macs with 10.5.7 and Safari 4. I was waiting all my critical tools to catch up with new system. Next wait: Mac Chrome.
I hope the rushs of the film Home are in high resolution with more than 24 frames per seconds. Currently there is too many jitter effects.
I made a mistake saying Safari 4 was asking permission to download webfonts. It was a misconfiguration with my Linotype FontExplorer. º¿º

Le suicide par pendaison (non prouvé) de David Carradine me laisse un goût amer et un tourment dans mon âme. Paix à la sienne.
It’s hard to downsize from a medium resolution screen (1920x1200 on 15.4" ~147 ppi) to a 100 ppi (1600x1200 on 20"). Everything looks rough.
Setting up a win xp desktop app on a 1920x1200~147dpi-15.4" screen. I can because this form based app has a zoom feature. Thanks Filemaker.
